A clique at work is a small, close-knit group of employees who share common interests and socialize together. While cliques can be beneficial for collaboration and social support, they can also be problematic if they become exclusive and alienate others.
The CEO and his cronies have engrained themselves deep to the core of management. Any positive reviews here are posted by that tight group of Good Ol' Boys. If you don't comply you will find yourself alienated and eventually shunned by the company. There have been instances where employees have been summarily released after many years of stellar performance reviews. The CEO has a degree from a Community College, Had no experience in leadership before attaining his position. Could it be because his daddy was once CEO? This is a poorly run enterprise that continues to thrive because of the superior product. But as a Corporation the atmosphere is toxic.
