Great starting pay. Nothing else to put in this column, I mean, they made you pay for your coffee. Can there really be a lot of good things to say about a company like that?

Expensive medical, dental and vision. Poor PTO package. Constant management turnover. They fired me one month before I was going to be due a $27,000+ commission. Don't believe me? Their commission structure was (maybe still is) such that you aren't paid ANY commission until you hit 50% of your yearly quota. Myself and 15 of 20 outside reps were all not hitting our honestly ridiculously high monthly quotas, but come July I was set to hit that 50% of my yearly quota by month's end. At that point, they paid 4% of gross invoiced sales. It was just under $700k, therefore my commission at 4% would have been $27k and change. Because I did a great job at realistically forecasting my sales, they knew exactly that I was going to exceed at the end of July and put me on a PIP in June because, technically, I was not hitting my monthly quota. Though I was number 7 of 20, I was only one put on a PIP....can you figure out why? Yeah, because they didn't want to pay me the huge commission I was due. Here's the other thing: Sales didn't count toward your quote until the material was invoiced and when the installation was invoiced. So even though I had an order SIGNED BY THE CEO OF THE CUSTOMER, they said I did not hit my July quota and said I didn't meet my PIP and they fired me. I didn't get any of the $27k I was due, PLUS MY WIFE WAS EIGHT MONTHS PREGNANT and they knew that, too. If they went to those lengths to fire me when they knew my wife was eight months pregnant, what will they do to you? Do you really want to risk it? Please consider this before accepting employment with this company.
