The actual workers were great before they quit. The turnover rate in market 30 is hilarious. No one ever stays and they use temps constantly because anyone they hire leaves there and if they’re good, they feel threatened and they look for a way to fire them so they can’t surpass them, They have such an amazing philosophy and if leadership walked the walk they’d be unstoppable. But they have all the wrong people in leadership positions unfortunately so they will never grow.

Good old boys club Plays favorites Leadership sits at their desks doing nothing but talking crap about their subordinates and one another The culture is the most disgusting thing I’ve ever witnessed and they treat everyone like they’re replaceable Repugnant leadership that tried to silo information and wanted no one to get to where they were and tried to keep their foot on everyone’s necks and not let anyone advance HR is a joke, they protect their own and manipulate you until the face to face meeting where everyone turns on you and gaslights you like you’re the problem The pay is dirt compared to anywhere else and you do 3x the work because management won’t help at all

One of the strongest aspects of this role is the autonomy. I’m trusted to make decisions that genuinely support the customer experience without constant approval from leadership. If I believe an exchange plus a $250 gift card is the right solution to preserve a relationship, I’m empowered to do that. That level of trust creates confidence and allows us to move quickly when issues arise. Leadership is accessible when needed, especially in escalated situations. I’ve never felt left alone to manage something beyond my scope. There is also regular voluntary overtime available, which is a plus for those looking to increase their hours. For someone transitioning from another industry, the environment feels more structured and brand-focused, which has been refreshing

The clientele can be challenging. Some customers assume that spending thousands of dollars entitles them to treat frontline employees disrespectfully, even when those employees had no involvement in the original issue. It can also be frustrating to hold a boundary with a customer, only to see it reversed after escalation. While I understand the desire to preserve relationships, it can unintentionally undermine employee confidence and consistency in standards. Because RH carries so many collections and product variations, the learning curve is steep. Customers often expect immediate, detailed product knowledge, which takes time to develop.
