Vantaggi
-Good coffee at client sites -It's been many years since I've worked with them but I really don't have anything good to say. -Coworkers were bearable.
Svantaggi
-Micromanaged & hovered over -- management would come in the room and not-so-sneakily look at your screen. You were also expected to document every second of your time and be at 100% work capacity for 8 hours each day, with an entire UNPAID lunch hour (which is absolutely pointless, pay your employees.) -Banter between management and employees was far less banter and much more insults with a power dynamic. Grow up. There is no employee support or care here. -Salary is low. $45,000-$60,000 is not enough for these support engineers that are working like crazy (not to mention we were told not to discuss salary! Major red flag!) Have some sensibility and pay your employees correctly and maybe your turnover won't be so high and your employees won't be so burnt out and depressed. -Blatant Nepotism. -No company car. Have fun racking up miles and getting oil changes in exchange for a measly mileage reimbursement. -Oncall is horrendous. Your rotation is a full week for 24 hours -- you will get a call every day. No doubt about it. -Office is Insufferable. You'll be counting down the minutes until the client site visit. Don't work here. Don't waste your time. You are more valuable than the filthy dollars this company will try to offer you in exchange for your personal freedom.
