Owner is pretty nice and approachable. Working environment is good. Positive working environment.

Svantaggi

Lack of backup support. LO's have to do too much "processing" type work and that makes it hard to sell. Also, pay structure was anemic. Hard to make over $30k a year working here. There are several better places to make money selling mortgages.

Dress code is super casual and working remotely is an option for almost every employee. The management is helpful for getting loans done quickly and they are reasonable when requests of any kind are made.

Svantaggi

With so many remote loan officers, it is sometimes hard to connect with others. We have weekly meetings via video conference, but there is not a lot of loan officer to loan officer time.

They use the same set-up as most call centers but with the liberty of working from home providing a great work-life balance Very independent work, no micromanaging but manager is involved in resolving issues. Comp structure is ok, they do provide you with plenty of leads via internet and warm transfers. A definite change from churn and burn call centers I've worked in.

Svantaggi

Operations is slow, processing and underwriting takes too long. Difficult to communicate with them real-time because operations is located in TX. Loans are taking 45-60 days to fund which is too long and borrowers often take notice. Not the cheapest in fees either and rates are not as competitive.
