Vantaggi

Good experience in the medical field Some downtime between calls if you're lucky Interacting with members of the public Meeting new and interesting people everyday

Svantaggi

Absolutely terrible management including CEO Management and dispatch do not care about you or your health and safety. Illegal trips carrying over the legal capacity of O2 tanks in the truck. Highly against the law but forced to do it anyway by management. Dispatch is very uncoordinated. Hospital staff has advised the attendants that they don't like calling dispatch to book transfers because RNR dispatch has horrible customer service and are very unfriendly on the phone. You're always "on call" but never paid to be on call. If you don't pick up your phone at night (even at midnight while you're sleeping to get ready for the next days shift) because dispatch wants to change your start time you get written up. Attendants/drivers are treated less than trash by management, dispatch and the CEO, Rob. The uniform is hideous and you have to pay top dollar for it. Yes, it comes out of your pay check.

Vantaggi

I have been employed with RNR for quite some time now. I have experienced working in the office and on the road as an attendant. Either job isn’t for everyone ! But what I can tell you is that this company cares about all of its employees, every single one of them! I’ve seen it with my own eyes and ears. Unfortunately those that give negative reviews are likely those that like to buck the system, and have been caught doing so. There is no employer that should or would put up with individuals that want to get paid and not work to earn their pay check! I’ve found the management very easy to deal with, if you do your job! They are very flexible with attendants schedules because management knows that the job isn’t perfect. The schedule is ruled by the hospitals and their demands for service. When hired this information is provided and explained upfront. The training is extensive and if someone needs to be retrained it never a problem.

Svantaggi

Attendants shifts can suck because you do t have a set shift BUT you know that right from the get go so if you can’t handle it Don’t sign up in the dirst place. !
