Poorly organized and run wishful thinking. Machines are old and dire need of overhaul. You will rarely have a shift without a break down.
Wasteful - entire 55 gallon drums of perfectly good QC but misshapen product can be sent to the landfill without batting an eye.
Boss is a hyperactive type common in the manufacturing world with those usual " always keep moving even if it's counterproductive to the situation" mentality.
