Vantaggi

There are no pros working at this toxic and hostile place.

Svantaggi

This was, without question, the most toxic work environment I’ve ever experienced. I worked here for over six years and saw patterns repeat themselves over and over again. There are too many issues to list in one review, but here are some key takeaways: 1. Extremely drawn-out and disorganized hiring process: Candidates often go through three or more interviews, sometimes months apart, only to wait another several months for an offer—if one ever comes. The company then seems shocked when top candidates move on. This level of inefficiency is unacceptable in today’s job market. 2. High turnover in HR and red flags in leadership: Multiple HR personnel came and went during my time, which is always a red flag. The head of HR wore multiple hats, which often meant HR concerns weren’t handled properly. Leadership is disconnected and often more concerned with optics than actual employee wellbeing. 3. Burnout culture: Employees are overworked and underpaid. Any concerns about burnout are met with disciplinary action or a path toward being pushed out. Many long-standing employees were systematically removed in what felt like a “cleaning house” to silence dissent and protect upper management. 4. No real support or training: There’s no structure, little to no onboarding, and poor guidance. Management will either ignore requests for support or label you as a problem for asking. The result? High turnover, especially among new hires and interns, who usually don’t last more than a couple of years. 5. Token promotions and empty promises: If you voice dissatisfaction, they may offer a few dollars more per hour or an unofficial title with promises that it will be “formalized” later. That date rarely—if ever—comes. 6. Outdated processes and refusal to evolve: The company is stuck in the past and resistant to change. Any suggestions for improvement are often dismissed with “this is how we’ve always done it” and “this is the rowe way.” 7. PTO and FMLA policies are misleading at best: Even though it’s not clearly written in policy, you’re expected to have 40 hours of PTO banked at all times. If you dip below that, they require you to use unpaid time or FMLA—even if your situation doesn’t warrant it. It’s confusing and unfair. Bottom line: Everyone I worked with was unhappy, and morale was consistently low. The company leans hard on “company culture” and “image,” which is often a smokescreen for dysfunction. The reality is that people are afraid to speak up, and leadership is either unaware or uninterested. Leaving was the best decision I ever made. My first offer after leaving was $8/hour more than what I made at rowe. Don’t fall for the narrative that you can’t do better—you absolutely can.

Vantaggi

I've received a good raise and bonus every year. There are opportunities for company-paid training and conferences. Management is very approachable and personable.

Svantaggi

It can be a little chaotic sometimes, but I would rather be busy than bored.

Vantaggi

Rowe is a company that genuinely wants people to grow within the company. Many people at ROWE have worked there for long periods of time if not their entire careers. Over the years you can see how they progressed from graduate level to mid-level to senior level and to management and up. Its encouraging because you know they actually mean you can grow within the company and leadership isn't just blowing smoke. Rowe is also a very flexible company. If you work in the office you can build your own schedule around core hours and work from home 2-3 days a week. They are also very understanding when personal things come up (family emergency, kids sports game, etc.) I've been here close to 2 years and have really enjoyed my time here so far.

Svantaggi

It is a midsized company, getting close to 300 employees at this point. Because its so midsized leadership gets to know everyone working at Rowe. I actually love this because you can actually have conversations with Principals and the CEO and they never act like they are better than you. But if you'd rather be just a number, or one of thousands of employees this might not be the place for you.
