Training within the firm is short and lacks formal structure. Those who require a long formal training period, a highly structured work environment, and a lot of hand-holding/supervision may face difficulties. However, new employees are given the opportunity to work alongside experienced producers on day one, and are allowed to focus their efforts where they feel they can close business. They are not bound by any geographical or internal team structure limitations. If they are sharp enough to work efficiently and focus their efforts appropriately, new employees can do deals immediately and make money right away. The best way to describe it is a sink-or-swim mentality.
