HR keeps asking people to leave a review so here it is. Scroll through the reviews and you’ll see multiple glowing ones posted on the same day. It’s obvious. It’s embarrassing. There’s endless money for AFL and cricket sponsorships. No pay rises for over four years. Funding only dries up when it involves employees. People are not valued. In real organisations, staff achievements are recognised and input matters. Here, you are less than nothing. Not a number. Not a resource. An inconvenience. If you ask questions or challenge anything, you’re told you “don’t understand the culture”. That culture is simple. Don’t question. Don’t ask. Just comply. C level leadership sets this tone. They are absent and disconnected. No town halls. No visibility. No engagement. Actions speak louder than any internal messaging. Christmas summed it up perfectly. Staff were told nothing would be provided. Bring your own plate of food and share it. That single decision says more than any values statement ever could.
