For the internationally-minded, there is little focus on local news, and RTTV does attempt to look at bigger picture, international issues.

Management is entirely Russian, and nepotism is fierce. For example, the business manager's nephew has to approve all costs. All of the staff, however, are mostly young, inexperienced Americans who are eager to please. Management takes advantage of that attitude and pushes people beyond their comfort zone to report the truth that is most convenient to the Kremlin. Very high turnover, and little opportunities for professional development. A place to stop, get some good clips for a reel, and get out of.
