Good benefits and competitive wages. Leadership and management is not what it use to be. They’ve unfortunately let some great employees go over the years to keep some of the bad ones and it’s unfortunately showing. Instead of owning up to it, they’ve just swept it under the rug. It was known as great company with a “family like” atmosphere. Now with leadership, lack of professionalism, and communication throughout the organization, and overworking/taking advantage of the few good employees - it has gone downhill. There are a few good employees left which is why it continues to operate as efficiently as they do. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Most of the employees I am still in contact with have implied how much the company has changed for the worse and the negative atmosphere. From the micromanagement, stressful/tense environment, lack of office spaces, to controlling your office decor or what looks “professional”, to overall the work environment. It’s really sad because while the organization is doing good as a whole, the employees aren’t happy. I hear from several current employees “if it wasn’t for the benefits and pay, I would’ve left.” The COO is a micromanager who spends his time monitoring employee phone calls on their network, is purposely seeking out ways to harass and terminate anyone he does not like and has a different opinion than him. Whatever you do, don’t be open and friendly with management. It will backfire on you. They ask your opinion and thinking it’s a comfortable and open environment you do and it will backfire. It doesn’t matter if you travel across the country for the position either, the last 4 people who have were fired. Doesn’t matter if you’re family, been with the company for 15+ years, or anything. Even if you stay to yourself, don’t express your opinion, keep your nose clean, and work hard at your job, it won’t be good enough unfortunately.
