You need to become a contractor or jump companies to get market value. -Outdated systems and tools, you will probably not add many useful skills to your resume. -Lots of overtime and weekend work. Work life balance is not usually great. -Not many new projects right now, which means that sites are still letting people go while replacing them with less expensive alternatives.
