Your paid time off can be taken at anytime, even to the point that you can go in half days. Also with the ability to work from home, you can treat that in the same fashion with PTO. Some times the customer is always right will get on your nerves seriously hard. There are times of indeciciveness especially when your a software engineer. There can be times where you will go to a software design review, get all of the specs that are to compose your product, go and make a product that complies to what was said in the Design review, and end up changing and testing your product 5 times because the customer wants to see something a certain way. When birthdays come about there is the tendancy to go out to lunch, although you could be trying to meet a deadline.
