- Stodgy culture - Due to the nature of the business there is an underlying culture of paranoia and security concerns - Also, the culture isn't exactly fun. Everything is taken very seriously even when not necessary - Lots of former military folks also contribute to the culture - Very conservative when it comes to picking technology. It's a big ship and they do not move quickly. They still use Lotus Notes as email client, for instance - Wholly dependent on government funding and contracts which can lead to some job insecurity
