New hire and promotion guidelines fail at screening optimal talent for each role (you could say they “have a type”). Lack of diversity. Poor performance and content QC. Obsolete editorial tracking systems based on spreadsheets that add time and work to your day. Too many meetings. Waste of valuable resources that bleed the company (and result from poor management at the team level).
