The company pays terribly and has barely any growth or career progression and takes advantage of their employees. I was told I would be promoted and took on more work outside of my project administrator role that I was contractually hired originally to do. It got to the point where I was doing an entirely different role but being under payed massively. They kept telling me I would receive a promotion along with a new contract and my role would be changed entirely but there was an approval/ transition period that needed to happen. Instead the company blindsided me with a unscheduled salary review and told me I was doing a good job and I would be receiving a pay rise that was the equivalent of 200$ a month and if I kept doing the work I might be considered for a promotion in 12 months time. The company still expected me to perform and do the job of a project manager and I was held to the same expectation as other project managers and my performance was measured the same as well all while still being employed to do a completely different role. When I raised this issue it fell on deaf ears or I was told that it was someone else’s issue. The company continued to take advantage of me while I was there and more expectations where put on me while being told I needed to work hours outside of my contracted amount because that’s what everyone else was doing but I was never compensated for this. All the company did was tell me it was normal to work overtime. I had way too many managers I didn’t know who to report to when I asked I was diverted to someone else. The management hierarchy is a mess and overseas management are just stuck in their ways and have no intention of changing. When I was offered a job elsewhere I gave the company the opportunity to counter offer they just said they wouldn’t even try and treated me like a social outcast. It was a horrible experience working for the company I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
