All new employees and upper management are just puppets of the CEO, living in fear of getting fired if they don't do or say what he wants. Hard work isn't rewarded with anything but more work. Someone gets fired and the hard workers absorb the role with no more pay. CEO complains and cuts budgets but then plans quarterly weeklong executive offsite in places like the Ritz in Lake Tahoe.
