My time at Ramsey was filled with personal, professional, and spiritual growth. It’s a Christ-centered workplace, and they do an incredible job hiring team members who genuinely share those values. If you’re coming out of college, this is the best place to start your career—leaders will invest in you and help you grow in every area of life. The team at Ramsey is committed to putting Christ and family first. This is a place that seeks to glorify Christ in everything—work, culture, leadership, and relationships. If that’s not something you align with, this probably isn’t the environment for you. The culture here is built entirely around Christ and family, and it thrives because of that focus.

The only thing I would change is that the organization no longer carries the startup mentality that many Ramsey veterans—and even Dave himself—often talk about from the early days. That sense of grit, drive, and urgency just isn’t as present anymore. Many days started to feel more corporate, like people were simply getting through the week and looking forward to the weekend rather than pushing toward something bold. Ultimately, that was the biggest reason I decided to leave. I’m younger and was craving an environment with that fast-paced, hungry, startup energy—where everyone is taking risks, moving quickly, and building something with momentum. Ramsey is an incredible place, but the culture today just didn’t match the type of environment I was looking for at this stage of my career.
