No training - many procedures I have been expected to go through without ample training. If I didn’t then I would get pulled up on it. However, if external auditors came in I would be sent to the office to “hide” until the had finished auditing. No one owns up to their own mistakes, would rather blame someone else. Bad handling of toxic material- i.e. incorrect PPE, ventilation, run out of masks a lot! Intense workload-expected to pull a miracle mid shift to get a project done Lack of materials - many times I’ve been working on a project and have to postpone it due to inadequate ordering/checking of materials, which again was your fault even if it was out of your pay bracket. Many times I raised issues with materials not being in stock and nothing done about it. Projects were subpar due to the sheer volume being done a week, and because of the lack of materials. Therefore, resulting in clients getting shocking products that they have spent a lot of money on. HR support is shocking - their professionalism within meetings have had me question their credentials and the actual support they are able to offer. I had demeaning encounters with a few individuals over things within this department. Overall, this company gave a toxic school environment. Managers would shout at you, instead of talking about their concerns on a professional level. I do believe an outside management team needs to come in and completely rehire and re establish the work ethics within this company. I felt like I was being watched and scrutinised over nothing all the time. I have even been questioned where I go on my break, my unpaid break! It has been the most mentally exhausting job I’ve ever worked in due to management and I have worked in far more stressful, but organised, companies where they actually appreciate the work their employees carry out. So many other cons within this company but I would be here all day.
