I did not know when I was registered with Randstad they were regularly liaising with the local authority where I was undertaking work. I was being bullied by colleagues and Management as I left a permanent role with the said authority and went straight over to an agency role. As I left not on the best of terms the authority were not happy with me ( I did nothing wrong, just did not want to complete AMHP training and got bullied badly, which was why I left). Little did I know my agent from Randstad was aware of the bullying and that phone calls with other staff that I thought were private were been recorded and also listened to by several people who were in the same room as the person who was set up as the social work grass/ mole to get me into trouble. This was going on for many months until I left and moved to a neighbouring agency. Funnily enough there was another agency Social worker there who did exactly the same. The agency worker from Randstad was even trying to catch me out to also bully me and bring me down. She even rang me once and asked me for the bit locker code for the laptop I had used at the local authority I had been with previously to try to catch me out committing a GDPR breach I guess. She was definitely on the side of the local authorities to try to defame and bully me. I then left Randstad, disgusted at their behaviour and allowing bullying of a social worker who is employed by them and not acting in their best interests or considering their mental wellbeing It sounds unbelievable I know, but this did happen and their is more to it than I have written here. Please avoid this agency, they are not to be trusted and will not act in the best interests of the social workers they employ.
