low pay despite my qualifications and passion. I often had to work overtime because of the heavy workload, and sometimes even on holidays. I frequently received calls at night after working hours. The work environment was toxic, with a lot of internal politics and conflicts within the department, including instances of bullying. I was subjected to unnecessary verbal abuse and insults, which later became evident were the result of discrimination and internal issues within the faculty. Many higher staff members were irregular in their work, which often delayed operations. They would also intrude into my personal life, which was completely unnecessary. The computers were outdated and frequently broke down, leading to long waits for repairs. There was no official overtime policy, yet many people had to work beyond their hours without compensation. Additionally, there was no proper staff training. I was often trained by individuals who lacked the necessary expertise but believed they knew everything, leading to mistakes and misinformation. In the end, I was the one who got blamed for these errors. I was once asked to come to work on a Saturday, despite having a personal commitment to go to the event, simply because a higher staff member couldn’t attend on a regular workday. I declined, but I was asked repeatedly. There were also many occasions when someone misunderstood a situation and blamed me, but when I resolved the problem, the issue was simply dismissed with a 'forget it,' regardless of whose fault it was. I was always scolded first, but despite this, I consistently completed my tasks and solved problems. Even after resigning for over a year, I still received calls asking about tasks I used to handle. Overall, the pay was not reflective of my skills, dedication, or value.
