The managers will do anything to get ahead. HR makes up a ton of rules to feel in charge. They fire people if they don't like you. I have seen them do that with agents and managers. Don't trust any of the managers. They are not your friends and will throw you under the bus. It used to be cool. They had a couple who ran it but they left and it has been crap since then.

The pay is trash. The hourly wage does not make up for their terrible “bonus” structure. They made it so convoluted that even Einstein would not understand it. I couldn’t even tell you if I was making what I should be making. If you need time off for being sick, or if you have an emergency, you have to provide some sort of proof like you’re 13 years old. It’s ridiculous. The leads are all garbage. No one is looking for insurance, they are all customer service calls asking for their member ID number or asking whether their coverage covers XYZ. You’re expected to flip them all into sales. If the call goes past 90 seconds and you don’t sell anything, your conversion rate drops. If your conversion rate is below whatever, they take away your bonuses. Checks at this place are like $850 a week selling insurance. If you’re like me and used to making like $2k MINIMUM a week, please do not work here. They do everything they can to not pay you. I was asked to apply years ago and didn’t do it because the pay sounded terrible and I went and did it anyway and was right. If you have insurance sales experience, there are SO MANY PLACES that will pay you way more for way less work.
