Vantaggi
Working at RatedPower is pretty cool. I've been working here before the Enverus acquisition and afterwards.
The culture and corporate values are respected. I feel valued as an employee by everyone —peers, management and leadership.
If you perform well, you get rewarded. The work environment is casual but focused. Your quarterly/yearly targets are ambitious but reasonable and achievable.
The acquisition improved quite a lot the level of benefits —from almost nothing when I joined the company (startup mode for the win!) to the best benefits I've got in my professional career so far (health, dental, unemployement and life insurance, flexible retribution). This applies to every employee as far as I know.
The growth of the company has been steady (ARR growth is healthy) and hiring policy has been reasonable (no massive hirings leading to layoffs afterwards) and attrition has been pretty low historically. Quite a lot of the current employees started years ago as interns and have grown with the company. This is something remarkable to me.
Being acquired by a American company (RatedPower is Enverus' largest international acquisition ever) has been an incredible opportunity to learn and foster internationalisation in both orgs.
Svantaggi
Nothing deadly serious here. Enverus does know how to acquire and they have a polished guidebook to do so.
However, friction —mostly with systems/platforms/tools— may happen.
Folks in the US or Canada are aware of the time difference and try to avoid late meetings. However, there is still room for improvement in async work (rather than synchronous communications).
