A company where all employees who work there really are passionate about the brand and product and will work hard to collaborate on only making it better.

Sometimes it would have been nice to have larger budgets for accomplishing goals.

Rdio is a cool product. The office is nice, it's got good benefits. Some of the people who work(ed) there are the most kind, passionate, hard working people I have ever met. I've made some wonderful friends there and learned a lot.

Leadership is lacking. Communication is limited. And the in-office atmosphere is very 'clique-y'. I had high hopes of working here, but the lack of organization and process lead to chaotic decision making and inconsistent feedback. Deadlines were often missed, and there was no accountability on almost every project I worked on. Anything that ever went wrong was always someone else's fault. The acquisition was handled extremely poorly. The majority of my coworkers will go into the new year with no paycheck, because they were assured otherwise before the announcement (many of us heard rumors of this months before, but were all assured we would have jobs and the company would continue to run). Not only was most of the company let go, we still don't have much information on the state of our employment, we aren't getting severance (oh, but the few who are being kept all get bonuses).
