An amazing team of some of the smartest, hardest-working, and coolest people I've ever worked with. And the surprise paid day off this Friday for all to extend the Labor Day long weekend, was just awesome. Thank you Exec team! The changes & evolution over the last year+, from exec, product, engineering, and ops leadership, coupled with the insanely busy influx of new customers, partners, and new staff to keep up with it all, has been amazing to see and be a part of. Is it a "different" Levels Beyond? I can't say - I wasn't around during the times that I see referenced in years-old public feedback. But I can say, things seem to be firing on all cylinders in the best of directions, and the stuff I read from the past isn't reflective at all of how things are running today.

Since pivoting to WFH, there's no free snacks or drinks! Honestly though, nothing else comes to mind.

The peers and friends you will make are the pros. I would describe working at Levels Beyond as a traumatic experience. The emotionally draining and bullying culture that comes from the leaders will create a close bond with your peers who are experiencing the same thing.

The leadership is the reason this company has failed. They have none of the following: leadership skills, knowledge of software development best practices, HR basics, diversity awareness, employee satisfaction or empathy. The leaders are unable to have open and honest conversations. If you do bring up concerns, they will disagree and stop listening immediately. They do not invest in their employees or their software. It was common to hear leadership blame former employees for the company's failure. This was disheartening because the employees here work extremely hard, are incredibly smart, and resilient.
