I was given a lot of flexibility around time off when dealing with personal matters, and leadership made time to check in and ask how they could help. Very outcomes-focused - do the work, manage your time responsibly, and you’re trusted. Fully remote option if outside Sydney, otherwise minimal office requirements. Generally well-intentioned people trying to support each other.

Communication between teams could sometimes be slow, and my manager was often stretched thin, which made availability challenging at times. Being fully remote made team bonding harder than in a more co-located environment. The codebase includes a fair amount of legacy systems, and decisions around modernisation are selective, which can be both a pro and a con depending on perspective.

Salary and benefits are fair. Senior developers are great. Platform is impressive.

Poor management. Managers are not good in handling people. Managers love to micromanaged. No employment security, tend to fire whenever they feel like it without evaluation.
