I have never felt compelled to write a review before but this is truly the worst place I have ever worked. I’d read glass door reviews before joining thinking they must be dramatic, they are absolutely not. The management is all around horrible. No working from home allowed whatsoever, as they do not trust you. Management will watch you through the window of their office, if you stop for one minute they will shout at you. Coffee breaks and toilet breaks are monitored. There are SO many cameras installed - not for your safety but to ensure you’re working. Must clock your lunch break as soon as you leave your chair to get/heat up food.
Do not trust any management - none of them have your best interest. They’re either terrible at their job (giving you no guidance) or will pretend to be nice to you whilst making your job miserable. If you tell them your favourite part of your job is X they will then take that away from you. In my role personally, I was allowed no time or creative freedom to do what I would like to actually grow the business and socials. They do not offer to pay for assets you need to make your life easier and the work better e.g software, models, etc no matter how much you ask. Every expense comes off your personal card and management will send you the money back, which sometimes takes weeks - completely bizarre.
Everyone in the company is juggling multiple jobs because the boss is not willing to pay people for specialised roles. The pay is shocking as well, yet the company is doing well so it’s clear it’s going into only management’s pocket. When meetings are put in place to gain feedback, management doesn’t turn up and thinks they are a waste of time, yet will complain if they doesn’t align with the outcome of everyone’s work. Most importantly, the way management speaks to people is disgusting. Multiple people have cried because of working at this company - management does not care. I have never seen management speak to their employees in such a degrading way as this.
You will receive no payslips unless you ask multiple times to which they will give you one - you will not receive these monthly. Holiday is also not accepted unless you remind management. You will be expected by management to work overtime for free, otherwise you will be deemed as having no drive.
There are no windows, so you genuinely feel like you’re in a prison cell. There is genuinely nothing nice to say about this place except for the friends I made whilst being here - a trauma bond you could say. Your mental health will suffer working here, avoid at all costs.
