Look so the thing is, you just need to enter with a plan to leave as soon as possible. Don't get too invested in what goes on on a day to day basis. Its literally a stepping stone. Start looking for your next job shortly after you enter (I'd suggest at about 3 months in, but if you're not looking by 6 months in youre making a mistake.) As a stepping stone though, its fine! Depending on your existing skillset when you enter, there is some potential for processional growth in some areas.

Senior management is really not good. Honestly. Middle managers are often new to management and those that are more experienced/know how to deal with people are often sidelined and/or leave as soon as they see whats up. They seemingly have little-no power to improve anything. After a few months on the job, your direct managers will usually get the defeated/haunted look of messengers of bad news they can't/won't try to defend. The work is tedious. Its not the worst thing ever but, its not easy to keep doing for long. Management plays favorites. Appearances are everything. Results are of secondary importance. (A person who *appears* to work a lot will be much better thought of than one that *does* work a lot, if the one who *does* work a lot were to say... take breaks and be seen doing so.) Employee well being is not actually on the list of priorities. Frequent layoffs, mediocre job security.
