However, since 2025, we’ve seen an acceleration in the integration of back-office functions into IBM. As this process scales, I feel that Red Hat is gradually losing some of its standalone agility and independence. That said, Red Hat’s 'Open Source Leadership' remains a dominant force in the market, and I believe its growth will only accelerate in the AI era.
