Svantaggi
- managers, VPs and C - Level display a lack of humility and authentic approachability. - lack of engagement from key team members towards customers or colleagues. They tend to stay in their bubble they have formed over the years, and it’s difficult for new people to get in. - changing directions is not a problem but communication is. The mantra: “everything is great, we are the best and there are no problems.” If you do dare to address problems you are a “toxic person” and “lack motivation to make things work”. Or “you’re just not carved out for the job”. This is very frustrating for an employee who believes in a company and wants to be an active part of success. - people have been knowing each other for even more than a decade and there is a lot of gossip. Including about salaries. HR needs to improve fostering an environment with discretion and integrity. There are extreme differences in salaries for people who do literally the same job. You could say this comes down to one’s negotiating skills, but it is also on HR to establish reasonable ranges for everyone. - Knowledge sharing is a problem. Even if you’re smart and motivated you’ll have a hard time getting onboarded and being set up for success as few people care to provide you with information. And those few that do, don’t have enough dedicated resources. I don’t want to offend and I am aware that there are always 2 parts involved in dynamics like these - the creator and the one staying and participating. It takes a lot of reflection to actively pull out from these situations and realize your own role in this. I hope they can make things work as the industry itself is a very interesting field to work in and the company has so much potential.
