Most Requirements are not fast paced. Clients tend to just pass on some good candidates and then hire them off externally to save money on budget. Account Managers need to be more aggressive in such situations. Accountability towards a Client is negligible to nil. Account Managers need to push for candidates who are better suited for the role as per the description. Lot of candidates are being rejected based on personality and the judgement is made just by a phone call. AMs need to understand that candidates are also humans and they have their moments. Judging by that one moment just ends in you losing out a good candidate and a chance to earn placements with the Client.
