Vantaggi

Fully remote setup Strong values… in theory

Svantaggi

The leadership team, especially the CEO, does not practice what they preach in Good Authority. Interviews were rushed and disorganized. The second round had no structure—no one asked me questions, and the team spent the time talking about their own unrelated work. When I demonstrated code that directly solved a current business problem, the CEO visibly panicked. No follow-up, no clarity—just silence. The CEO appeared agitated and even physically shaking during the final call. For a company built on emotional intelligence and accountability, this was jarring. There’s a concerning pattern of the CEO criticizing his staff while also displaying erratic, indecisive behavior himself. I left with the impression that leadership craves innovation but isn’t prepared to handle it—or the people who bring it. They made an offer.. then went silent. I responded the same day.

Vantaggi

Refound puts a lot of care into creating a great work atmosphere - and it's not just talk. While no one is perfect, leadership does a good job of finding the balance between a human-centric tone while being mindful that it's a business that needs to perform. They also have great benefits and flexible work schedules - esp. for a smaller company.

Svantaggi

Lack of diversity - and this is getting addressed. Being a small team, you need to keep in-mind that you need to be flexible when things change fast.

Vantaggi

A handful of few wonderful people who are kind. Fully remote work.

Svantaggi

The CEO and executive leadership team do not practice what they preach. They consult other executives at various companies on how to treat employees like humans and yet in their own workforce they have a hard time enforcing work/life balance for their employees and if you don't work 80 hour weeks you are considered someone who doesn't really work hard. The CEO constantly changes his mind on a whim and it impacts so many people in various ways with a trickle down effect. I truly do wish there was more 'practicing what we preach' here because the fully remote part is great.
