When KPI's aren't up to par and plant has equipment/personnel issues, it culminates in poor performance, missing financial goals and thus more stress on everyone. Never seem to have enough people to get things fixed in operations. Always fighting the issue of compensation...can't compete with other local businesses. Low pay equals non-qualified, low-end personnel. And the cycle just continues. Train people...allow them more time to learn new systems...respond to calls for "help".
