      Great employees in every department. Unlimited PTO is great but be prepared to explain why you are taking time off.

      Getting told you are an owner before and after layoffs gets old. This company sounded great with a solid comp plan, growth opportunities, and 100% remote. All false. People ops does do their best to keep everyone engaged and having fun but if you have a bigger issue, it’s best to just smile and keep your head down. If your feedback isn’t how great the company is, they don’t want to hear it. One of the mottos is “own the work” and it felt like like this in the beginning but now you are so micromanaged that you feel even less like an “owner”.

      We appreciate your feedback. It’s no secret that Relay has been Inventing the Future amidst an incredibly challenging economic backdrop, but we’d suggest that the Own the Work mentality is all the more important in that frame.       - Relay Payments is one of the most unhealthy and chaotic environments I have ever worked in - Turnover is extreme, with employees constantly coming and going in a short time - New hires disappear withing weeks as if they were never there - The "owner" title feels misleading, as it mostly translates to higher pressure, higher targets, and more responsibility with little return - Plans constantly change without warning - Compensations shifts unpredictably, making it difficult to trust what is promised -Deals fall apart for unclear reasons with little to no explanation - Clear answers and transparency are rarely provided - There is no real stability or path for growth, only constant scrambling to keep up with nonstop change
