Svantaggi
- Everyone in previous reviews said a pro was having a hybrid schedule. My manager did not allow me a flexible hybrid schedule because "I needed to gain trust first". The longer I worked there, the more I learned that rule only applied to me. Everyone else had the freedom to work from home when they wanted. - An unspoken rule here is if you aren't overworked, you're not working hard enough. Unless you are overworked to the point of poor mental health and hating your life, no one takes you seriously. You won't be promoted or get a raise. It's like you have to work an unreasonable amount to get the recognition you deserve. - Retention is non-existent and management does nothing about it. If you tell them you're being overworked, they'll put up a job posting and the take it down a day later because they are laying people off and it will make them look bad. - They'll lay people off, have a company meeting about how everyone's jobs are completely safe the week after, and then lay more people off the next week. Oh, and they'll do all this three weeks before Christmas. - They will put up a job posting three weeks after said layoffs. After royally screwing people over right before Christmas, they are hiring again for those positions?? - Clients are abusive, and if you are an account manager you have to navigate the poor decisions of management with the client. Like it's my fault that we have an absurd amount of turnover, and I have to explain yet again why we have another new person working on their account and then I have to deal with an upset client who will threaten to find a new agency. - Tracking your time so you could bill clients correctly. And I could not believe that I had literal proof that I was grossly overworked and no one was doing anything about it. - If you want to switch positions, they will string you along and make you think it's possible and then never actually do anything about your progression in the company. - The unlimited snacks at the office are somehow seen as a way to compensate for all of the above.
