Interns treated VERY poorly - Recensione dipendente - Intern presso Relix Magazine

I worked as an unpaid intern here for a year and a half, some of that full time, lead on to think there was an opportunity for future employment. I was expected to carry out the duties of an employee and was treated very poorly. Upper management was often cruel and controlling and at one point, threatened to take away the chair on any intern or employee who listened to their headphones (bear in mind, this is a music magazine!!!). There was a vast amount of office gossip, and new people coming in were often treated poorly by upper management. I was also told by my boss that I would never make it at my dream and that I wasn't good enough.
