Payment, however, is routinely delayed and contacts at the company act as though they're doing you a really great service by deigning to have hired you in the first place and wonder why you're even concerned about getting paid. Payment for remote, digital work of this kind should be made immediately upon completion, and Remazing should recognize that freelancers coming from Upwork have come to expect funds to be escrowed in advance and then payment to be prompt. Poor communication is really the crux of issues I experienced and other freelancers should be very wary of asking LOTS of questions and protecting themselves before agreeing to start work.
