Vantaggi
I've been here a little less than a year, so my experience may be limited. I feel like I came on at an interesting time, the company has opened a new location and is in middle of building some new products, so everything has a new car smell. I don't have an idea of the financials, but I get the sense we're growing responsibly. I've worked for a few companies that grew beyond their budget that no longer exist. Pretty decent schedule. Happy with the management of my department. While there's expectations in our performance, nothing seems out of reach and I feel pretty stress-free. Laid back work environment, dress code pretty relaxed. The benefits are pretty good, particularly the dental (makes sense, dental company). Gym membership at three different gyms. Coffee from H&C. Generally I get the sense that people care about what they do.
Svantaggi
Because we're spread out in 3-4 offices and we don't have any company events, it all feels a bit fragmented. Like there's no "us" in this. Communication could be a lot better, when major changes happen I tend to find out by word-of-mouth instead of leadership. Even some of our wins don't seem very public. This is probably due to it being a newer location, but the benefits (dogs, bar, free snacks and soda, arcade games) in the Southport location eclipse what's available in others. Hopefully this will change as more departments move to Southport. Morale in some departments is a little low, partially due to some internal shakeups.
