A fun place to work and get entertainment experience in a period fashion.

Pay is either non existent or very limited. I got lucky enough to be a paid cast, but not all casts are paid.

My experience here showed future employers that I am personable and can interact well with the public. It was a lot of fun being part of the cast. I made lasting friendships and part of the time, under good conditions, it was a fun escape on the weekends.

For much of the cast, there is no pay. There have been incidents involving harassment and tensions can rise between cast members. The conditions of performing outdoors in the heat and other weather of the summer and fall can be draining and uncomfortable.
