Working in the Reno County Appraiser's office was a deeply disappointing experience. The office environment was highly unprofessional and extremely toxic, largely due to unchecked bullying and a lack of accountability. Several employees regularly engaged in narcissistic and immature behavior, creating a hostile atmosphere that felt more like a middle school than a professional workplace.
Despite repeated issues management failed to address any of the issues directly with the individuals who enjoyed inflicting their harassment. Instead the entire office was addressed as if it was the problem was every single employee in that office. Upper management was unresponsive, often turning a blind eye to serious concerns and failing to provide support or resolution. Overall the bullying included snide remarks, intimidation, whispered insults and deliberate sabotage all designed to undermine and humiliate.
No one should have to endure such treatment in a professional setting. I would not recommend working at Reno County Appraiser's Office to anyone seeking a respectful, supportive and healthy work environment.
