The client appreciated my work, and I consistently delivered results despite internal instability.

The hiring process lacked transparency and honesty. I was actively pursued for an “urgent” role and clearly informed HR in the first round that I already had another offer and would not accept the same or a lower package. Despite this, salary discussions were dragged on, revised at the last moment citing “budget issues,” and only marginally corrected after repeated arguments—after I had already completed assignments and presentations. I was hired specifically for a Pune-based client. I explicitly asked during interviews whether my job would be at risk if the client exited, and I was clearly assured that I would be reassigned and not laid off. When that exact situation occurred, the company immediately terminated my employment, stating they no longer had funds to pay my salary. This termination directly contradicted the assurances given during hiring. The client exit was influenced by internal delays and mismanagement before I joined, yet the burden was placed entirely on me. I had declined another confirmed offer based on the commitments made by this company, which were ultimately not honored.
