Vantaggi
On all the basics, it's a great company. Good business, good customers, great employees, great leadership. The people are awesome. The office (HQ in Redwood City) is very nice. Nimble, dynamic, transparent. Also, it might be surprising, but in a way it's a lifestyle place. Depending on the group you're in, you will work very hard. But day to do it's a surprisingly low in-office hourly commitment. Most people are in the office basically 8 or so hours per day. Few are in the office after 6 pm. It's sort of weird, and you wish sometimes it weren't like that, but the advantages are that it's a manageable lifestyle. However, many people work at home later in the evenings again, so be aware of that. The leadership of the company is open and transparent with the team. If you are doing a great job, this company will reward you with career growth and compensation changes. Compensation is good (but benefits are not competitive; see below).
Svantaggi
Benefits have been okay or even below market for a while. The company is apparently changing that, but it's not yet clear how "competitive" their benefits are going to be after the change. The business is very focused nowadays on the enterprise business; it is not as exciting as it used to be to be on the consumer team. Also, a lot of things around the company feel continually and always under-resourced, also: marketing, fulfillment, etc.. Sometimes projects are so lean that it can feel like things are too close to the bone. The company is in transition to an increasing focus on enterprise, and while the team has been clear about that, that transition has some ramifications that can be painful.
