Great coworkers, horrible management - Recensione dipendente - Investigator 2 presso Research Associates

Good place to work and learn.

Not enough vacation days in a year.

OK first office job. Great way to learn office and phone etiquette, how to fax and how to act in a semi professional environment. Dress code is casual, which is nice and they're really flexible with you if you have appointments or reasons to leave early/come in late. Great and friendly people to work with. Sometimes they'll cater lunch for us for holidays/events (st. patricks day, opening day for the indians/browns/cavs) and even sometimes breakfast and food trucks.

The client comes before the employee in every case. They have policies and rules in place for our client, and yet the minute the client wants to break the rules we bend over backwards, break the policy and go even a step further to make them happy. We're treated like we are incompetent by the client. They take advantage of the 'verification specialist' and pay them less for doing the exact same work as the investigators. If they actually used these individuals for what they were hired to do it would be a better environment. As mentioned above the dress code is casual, at times, too casual. People come in in yoga pants, flip flops, short skirts, dirty tennis shoes and hoodies. Just does not set the tone for the whole environment.
