Management isn’t very good, very unprofessional. Do not argue with any form of management the wrong way or you’ll lose your job. I suggest to not talk to HR about anything. The pre-analytical department is a joke. The pay is not worth it, especially with all the demands & expectations you’ll have as an individual, it’s unrealistic & the pre-analytical (accessioning, troubleshooting, biobanking) team isn’t established like the other lab departments, you’ll be attempting to develop a department with no assistance because the company solely wants to do everything in-house to save money & expect management to shoot down all of your attempts to make the process easier/better.
Bottom line, no matter how much you do in your position you will never be appreciated & everything you do will never be enough. By far, this is my 3rd or 4th clinical laboratory job & I have never been treated like complete trash & experienced this much unappreciation.
Don’t work here or at least... don’t work for accessioning.
