Vantaggi

Nice office space, free coffee, foosball table if you like to play, accessible via subway., in a decent neighborhood.

Svantaggi

At Ressac Media, human beings are not welcome. I say that because they treat their personnel like robots. They require everyone to work overtime but do not pay them for it. The working conditions suck, management treats you like you're the lowest of the lows and you get blamed for the most innute of details. Coaching? Forget about it, you're expected to understand everything on your own. Training consists of you interviewing everyone about their jobs, but little time is spent actually showing you what you are required to do. The staff turnover is extremely high and after spending a few days there, you understand why. Time is wasted in pointless meetings so that you can't accomplish the task list you are required to give out daily, You're basically expect to be perfect, know everything, eat crap, like it and come back for more. The interview process itself is unusual and shows the lack of complete lack of emotional intelligence that is ingrained in the culture of this company. Never have been happier that the day I left.

Vantaggi

Location : amazing. It's in the heart of the Mile End, one of the coolest neighbourhoods in Montreal. Relationships : it's what makes Ressac so unique. The tighlty knit team at Ressac will make you feel like you're part of the family on your first day. The staff structure is very horizontal and the modd is super laid back. Openness : the owner and the coordinators are always there to talk.

Svantaggi

There can be big workloads, and sometimes you'll have to work extra hard. But that's the agency life ;)
