Vantaggi
- Some nice people with genuine intentions - The rebrand is more up to speed with current agency styles and trends
Svantaggi
Where do I begin? - Extremely cheap; account will hound you about going over hours on projects that were scoped for way less than what’s standard. When you ask for more hours you get eye rolls and it feels like you’re asking for something completely unreasonable - Terrible client management. Account will agree to client requests which affect the whole deliverable but not change the hours or budget. Pro-tip: Create, agree and have EVERYONE sign off on briefs before kicking them off to the teams. There have been times the CD’s and ACD’s didn’t see briefs or timelines before they were kicked off to the larger team. You’re making it harder for yourself and your teams by not doing your due diligence and then making changes, going off brief, and then not updating the brief, scope, or timelines - Going off the point above, there seems to be a lack of communication between different departments. Account will not know answers to questions and PMs don’t know anything about the brands they work on other than the timelines - Very odd superiority and ego problems. No need to elaborate here! - No yearly promotions, can be years before you’re promoted - Creative can be boring and outdated. Some are talented and there can be cool ideas but those usually get squashed - When you’re slow you have to ask around for work, not many resources other than your manager telling you to ask for work - Not winning any business and current accounts/clients are dropping like flies which led to the 2 mass layoffs - The new CEO’s introduction meeting left a poor taste in everyone’s mouth. There were “technical difficulties” and the Teams meeting wasn’t started on time on their end and he said he refused to reintroduce himself to over 100 remote people who called into the meeting (the majority of the company) - Benefits are very very expensive - No 401k match to my knowledge - Very behind on the times (no mental health benefits, very limited PTO days, only recently acknowledged MLK day as a paid holiday, let alone Juneteenth)
