The COO is one of the most condescending and ill mannered "leaders" I have ever had the misfortune of working with. During my time working under him I felt undermined, demeaned, micromanaged, and not trusted to do my job. On a few occasions I have witnessed him "jokingly" bragging about how hard he is to work with as if he took pride in it. Says he is open to feedback, but in fact is not. He also has an EXTREMELY hard time hearing the word "no" (almost reminds me of how a child reacts to the word no)- and this is after the fact that all options and efforts have been exhausted to try and accommodate his ridiculous asks. He will come back by saying that you are not trying hard enough (after you just basically broke your back and provided adequate details to back up your efforts). I felt as if he provided no real support or empowerment as a leader should. Has no interpersonal skills and does not know how to communicate respectfully. Leads with fear.. If he is having a bad day (which I couldn't tell if it was everyday or not with the way he communicates), EVERYONE will suffer for it. I will end with the fact that when I first came on board I was told "not to get on his bad side".
Other than the COO - the CEO isn't much more respectable in my opinion. Operates the same exact way as the COO so it is hard to suggest any feedback and feel as if it is taken into any real consideration...in my opinion not really a genuine leader, not one I would want to learn from anyway.
I can confidently say that there is a HUGE systematic problem within this organization that is not being challenged or addressed. It continues to churn out employees like clockwork. A significant number of employees have turned over since I started and it was an immediate red flag for me. Be aware before accepting an offer here because the "values" that they preach are very much an illusion. There is a common thread throughout these reviews for a reason.
Also, this company is one of the cheapest companies I have worked for. Often times when I would pitch ideas for initiatives that are for the greater good they would only be onboard if it didn't take any time or money from the company which is extremely disappointing.
Last, but not least, the actual physical space is not that great. The office is in an older building so things break down a lot. A lot of the furniture is somewhat rundown a little and could definitely use an upgrade.
