Large companies don’t trust us compared to a big famous bank. Culture is horrible. Inexperienced managers managing people who should have been the managers. No regard for how sales actually works, all based on numbers. If you don’t hit a target, you’re out. Even if there is a reasonable explanation (e.g. offboarded due to legitimate reasons = loss of money from your target / cancelled subscription because customer support is terrible or app not working as expected = loss of money from your target etc…) Things you can’t control yet don’t get taken into consideration when they deem you useless.

- Poor sales leadership - for a company so successful, very shocked at the low calibre of talent in senior sales roles. But product is so strong and they are not measured on employee retention so impossible for them to fail. - Tech stack minimal. - Large elements of favouritism.
