Vantaggi
Other than meeting some interesting restaurant owners, there isn't a single good thing about the company.
Svantaggi
I was initially brought on to do marketing and advertising for restaurants, as that was my background. From the time I signed my offer letter, until the time they finally got their act together and could get me started ended up being close to a month--and THEN it put me into a financial hole because it started me in a completely different pay period, delayed my first month of commissions from what I was told, etc. By the time I started, my manager had been let go, and the VP who was covering for him was nowhere to be found. He basically pushed myself and another new hire onto anyone he could find. The training was mindless/horrible. We didn't have a manager for over a month, and didn't get to start working our own territories until after the first 30 days, not really realizing our "clock" was already running. The manager they promoted was condescending, rude, and extremely lazy, always showing up late and never on task. This manager took it upon themselves to get on my back about where I was performance-wise even though the expectations were unrealistic, and after they verbally attacked me in an unacceptable manner, and I asked for HR to help get us back on track, I was let go from the company before they even cared to resolve the issue. They claimed it was performance but that wasn't correct, as one of my fellow team members went MONTHS without making the proper sales--then again, they had an "IN" with the always missing VP and weren't held to the same standards. They also let another employee in my territory go just because a client didn't want to work with them. Instead of handing the account off, they came up with a wild excuse to let him go. This was confirmed by the manager who I was supposed to be working for. AVOID RN AT ALL COSTS!!! They have NO idea how to run a sales organization correctly. They have NO morals or ethics when it comes to how they treat their employees. Their pay structure is a JOKE. Their expectations are UNREALISTIC. And it is my personal opinion that their new focus, selling HIGH INTEREST not-loan loans, is a detriment to restaurants everywhere.
